Don't judge a "blog" by its cover...
As I sit here and watch the footage on the presidential inauguration, it makes me think about the pressure our President must be under. I mean, he is the one who is getting up in front of millions of people trying to make a speech that will please everyone and put hope in their future, while most of Americans are sitting on their lazy asses watching the television judging every move he makes. I think it's quite sad. If you think of every significant job title in the world such as doctors, police officers, psychiatrists and so on... We the people look to them every second of everyday for answers and for help, but then on the other hand, judge them like we could do their job. Can you imagine the stress that puts on someone? While I'm sitting over here sulking about my quarter life crisis, President Obama is putting his life and reputation on the line to help the lives of others. It's actually quite crazy when you sit down and think about it. I just wanted to remind everyone, including myself, that every person we come in contact with has been through something, whether its a loss of a loved one, a life consuming disease, or a simple heartbreak... They have been through something that has altered the way they act towards others. Even if they smile everyday and try to make people think they live the happiest lives, they haven't. We have all been stressed, depressed and saddened by the horrible things the world puts on us, but there are still those who try to do good for others while putting their happiness on hold and that's what makes the world an amazing place. Just remember that before you judge someone else, take a step back and judge yourself... There is no reason for us to put pressure on others to be perfect when we are simply imperfect.
